Rebecca and Chris had a beautiful wedding last September, and it was only made that much more special by the fact that a storm blew right over us during family and bridal party portraits. I also found it completely enchanting that the weather matched their color scheme which was white and slate blue. The wedding took place at a private estate over looking the Puget Sound in Washington. The ceremony was accented by the gorgeous evergreen trees that are typical for the PNW (but I am still completely taken aback by their sheer magnitude), and the reception took place under a gorgeous sail cloth tent. What I loved the most about this wedding day was the energy. Everyone from the family, the bride and groom, to their guests had a joyful sense of serenity and excitement to them. Becca & Chris are so loving, and they were surrounded by so much love. And there were lots of little tender, tearful moments that truly get me every time. I loved that the bridesmaids were so excited for the first look., they could help but crowd around the window that overlooked the first look space. They all had the biggest grins on their faces. I loved how many times the bride and groom cried. Moments during the ceremony and the toasts that were truly too beautiful.
